The skipper has the required experience and training for operating a charter vessel, as well as a Charter Boat Operator’s License issued by Trafi. In addition, the boat is inspected every year and the vessel and its equipment are reviewed together with an inspector.

For the trips, a Safety Plan has been prepared, describing how preparations have been made and how to act in the event of a situation that endangers safety.

The wind limit for sailing trips is 10 m/s. The example destinations and sailing excursions are carried out within the same familiar archipelago area, and route selection takes into account the experience and skills of those on board.

Before departure, a safety briefing is held explaining how to behave on the boat and how to use life jackets and safety equipment.
